Universit茅 Catholique de Lille Winter
The LILLE Winter program is a 2-to-3-week program,听 offering academic courses taught in English or in French, utilising the University鈥檚 expertise in Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, and more. Courses are taught by highly qualified faculty from the听Universit茅 Catholique de Lille听or visiting professors, with an aim to provide both theoretical background and practical learning through site visits and hands-on activities.
Complete with group dinners, local and regional tours, and opportunities to socialise with French students, the program emphasises the student experience as well as the cultural and intercultural aspects of academic learning.听Lille is a vibrant and dynamic university city at the centre of Western Europe. With swift connections to Brussels (35 minutes), Paris (60 minutes), and London (80 minutes), Lille is perfect for students planning to visit and study Europe. And there is always much to see and do in Lille itself 鈥� a welcoming multicultural haven.

Credit Equivalent
8 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units after successful听completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).听Students are required to undertake听one morning and one afternoon class within this program.

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria听and the听.
If you intend to undertake your experience for credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to Global Experiences at least 4 weeks before applying to the host, to allow sufficient time for the Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however, that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline. 听
Costs
The participation mode of this experience is听Study Abroad. The program fee is approximately $4,530 AUD.

Funding
Global Experiences Grants
When you submit your application for an听experience, you are automatically considered for funding that is relevant to your nominated experience. Please refer to the鈥�Short-Term Experiences Funding鈥痯age for details.听
OS-HELP Loan
You may also be eligible to submit an application for an听听if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.

Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can鈥檛 be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months听before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than听3 months听before the official end date of your overseas study.
