Applicants must apply through the Global Experiences team by 31 August 2026 to be considered for this opportunity. This early deadline allows sufficient time for credit assessment and the host university nomination process.
Places in the LUSEM Winter School are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Successful applicants will be nominated to the host university by the Global Experiences team. We will confirm your nomination via email and advise you when it is time to submit your application to the host institution.
Following nomination, it is your responsibility to meet all host university application requirements and deadlines.
Costs
The participation mode of this experience is听Exchange.听You are responsible for paying tuition fees听to UQ听instead of the host. For the duration of your short-term global experience, you will be automatically enrolled in EXCH codes (#2-4 UQ units) on My SI-net.听
You will pay all other associated program fees directly to the host.听More information on costs for each of the locations can be found on the听听website.
The UQ tuition fees that you pay are determined by your status as a UQ student. For more information, please refer to the听Tuition and Program fees听- Exchange tuition fees.
It is your responsibility to check that you are enrolled correctly by the appropriate UQ census date, or you will be charged a late fee.听

You may also be eligible to submit an application for an听听if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.
